Day 9

Here I am rocking my SBHS T-shirt. Shout outs to the class of 2009 and all of the teachers, coaches, and mentors who helped me along my way!

I had my first exam in class, and then we learned a little more, and then...we learned how to make Pisco Sours! The picutre above is of me holding my mini Pisco Sour. Little did I know that this wouldn't be the last time that a Pisco Sour found ME this day. [[Stay tuned for another blog post to see where else the Pisco found ME on this day]] 

Here is a picture of the university's staff demonstrating how to make a Pisco Sour.

Ingredients:

- Pisco 

- Simple Syrup

- Lime Juice

- Egg White

Since our first week of class was completed, Lake, Nick, Estefania, Nichole and I decided to go out and celebrate with some good eats. I got a lentil veggie burger with fried plantains. Very delicious! 

After lunch I walked back to the hostal with Lake, and mentally prepared myself for my first quinceniera (sp?)! The party was taking place at Buen Pastor. I was very excited for it! I am going to dedicate a whole blog entry to the details of the party with LOTS of pictures. But for now....
