Day 6

Eh ehm...today was my first day of classes.

and I am number 4.

I took a placement test this morning around 8:30 am. Then, shortly after, I was placed in a class. Class ended at 1:10 pm. We had a 30 minute break from 10:20 am to 10:50 am. During that time I sat in the courtyard and soaked up the sun.

My professor's name is Luz. She was sick. She said all she wanted to do was rest, and that she'd feel better tomorrow. I'm holding her to it.

The rest of the day, some people from my group and I went around the area and shopped. I got a lot of interesting things! I also ate at an Irish/Peruvian restaurant. Quite an interesting combo! I got a very interesting dish from this interesting restaurant. I don't remember the name of the restaurant or the dish. Oh well.

Aside from everything else, we had a meeting today at 6 pm. At the meeting we decided where will be partaking in our community service mission. I am going to be volunteering at a place called Buen Pastor. There, I will be working with troubled, female teenagers. I will tell you more about this assignment once I have fulfilled some hours.
